Hen Party Accessories from HenStuff

Planning a hen night, and thinking of fancy dress themes? Well, we have some great fancy dress costumes available on Henstuff, but why not go for something different this time around? A Naughty Nun's theme is definitely one to go for. Not only will you look great, but it will definitely get you plenty of attention! We have two different nun costumes available, the Nuns Kit, and the Nun Costume. So whether you want to go all out with the full costume, or just go for the Nun Kit that contains a headpiece (Nuns Hat) and collar - you will definitely look the part.

The best part of this theme is that you and your hens get to choose how naughty these costumes will be, as it is your job to make them as naughty as you can! So get the girls round before the big hen night and get creative! That way you're basically having two parties - could it get any better? Make sure you've got plenty of cameras at the ready because you're going to want to document this night!

Batman villain hen costumes

Everybody knows Batman, but his comics and films and TV shows are arguably known as much for the colourful villains as for the caped crusader himself. The Batman universe has quite the rogue's gallery, and while The Joker, Two-Face, Bane et al are certainly super-scary, the women are often just as intimidating as the men. Also, they have awesome costumes, which gives us a great hen do idea!

If you want to attract a lot of attention when you hit the town, dressing up as Batman villains is a great way to go. We've got three voluptuous villainess outfits for you to choose from - would you like to be Poison Ivy, with her deadly greenery? Or Harley Quinn, with her ravishing red and black colour scheme? Or perhaps you'd prefer the classic Catwoman costume, as sexy and as slinky as ever.

Now we realise that you've probably invited more than three people to your hen do, so once those three outfits have been taken, why not get creative? It's easy to turn yourself into a female version of the other Batman villains - for example, you could use our white cream make-up to look like the Joker, or combine a purple glitter mask with a green top hat for a glammed-up Riddler look. The sky's the limit!

Yep, we're still jealous of the people at Glastonbury, so let's continue to assuage our festival envy with another festival-themed hen night idea! Fancy dress is a huge part of many hen nights, but some girls might find that the usual hen costumes - French maids, bunny rabbits, et cetera - are a little too bawdy for their tastes. We're not sure when rabbits became ubiquitous sex symbols (we're guessing it's mostly Hugh Hefner's fault, the bunny-fancying old weirdo), but the point is that there are plenty of other fancy dress themes to choose from.

Seeing as festival season is now upon us, why not try festival-themed costumes at your hen party? A fabulous festival costume requires nothing more than some torn-up jeans, a tie-dye T-shirt, and a pair of wellies - surely anyone could manage that? Of course, if you still want to look a little bit glamorous,  we've got a variety of hippie costumes that will make you look a) gorgeous, and b) like you've come straight from the Pyramid Stage circa 1971.

So get over your didn't-go-to-Glastonbury blues, we'll do our best to get over ours, and we'll all have a fantastic festival-themed party. You and the girls will stand out a mile when you stride into town wearing your best festival garb!

By the by, we've done a bit of digging and discovered that Hugh Hefner actually has a species of rabbit named after him: Sylvilagus palustris hefneri. So there's your chunk of useless information for the day.

If you're lucky enough to be having a winter wedding, your hen night might well be happening when everyone else is getting ready for Christmas. But that's no bad thing - in fact, it presents you with the perfect opportunity to give your hen night a Christmas theme!

It isn't a proper hen night if you don't get dressed up, and we've got plenty of festive fancy dress costumes to make you look Christmassy when you're out and about. There are Christmas elves aplenty: check out this Ladies Elf Costume or the somewhat saucier Fever Elf Costume.

Of course, you don't have to be one of Santa's little helpers. We've got plenty of other Christmas costumes for your ho-ho-hen night, including a Snowman Costume, a Nutcracker Costume, and even a Christmas Pud Costume! Your hen night will be extra-awesome if you get all festive about it, so check out our Seasonal Fancy Dress section today and get a gaggle of cool Christmas costumes for your girls!

Hen party accessories for the bachelorette who can't wait for the wedding!

The bridal veil is an age-old wedding tradition. The idea is that the groom gets to lift the veil at the end of the ceremony, symbolically consummating his marriage to the virgin bride. Of course, not every wedding is a white wedding (and not every bride is a virgin), but the bridal veil has endured as a symbol of marriage and the joy of wedlock.

It's also done a pretty good job of cracking the hen party accessories market, so it should come as no surprise that we at Hen Stuff have dedicated a whole section of our site to Veils. Whether you go for the traditional white bridal veil or something a little more devilish, you're sure to find something that suits you. After all, what bride-to-be wouldn't look brilliant with a beautiful bridal veil flowing behind her?

Hen Stuff's collection of hen party accessories is second to none, so whether you're after Veils, Boppers, or any other kind of Hen Headwear, you're in the right place. So lift that veil and get shopping!

Turn your hen night into an extravagant masked ball!

Masquerade balls were the original fancy dress parties, hosted by lords, ladies and aristocrats, and attended only by the true social elite. They're big, romantic occasions - Romeo met Juliet at a masked ball - and now you can give your hen night a spot of 17th century extravagance with Hen Stuff's classy masquerade masks.

We've got a great variety of masks for your hen night, ranging from the simple black eyemask to colourful, flamboyant creations like our beautiful feathered butterfly mask. Masquerade masks are a brilliant way to class up your hen night - you and the girls can looks like a group of Austrian countesses without paying a king's ransom!

Hen Stuff's masquerade masks come in a huge variety of colourful designs. You can find our full range of hen night masks in our Masks section, so grab some masks today and see if you and your hen night chums still recognise each other!
